Summary

SMART is a well established substance misuse organisation covering the Thames Valley and Bedfordshire areas. Our innovative projects are designed to break the cycle of substance misuse and addiction to transform the prospects of people.

 

In addition to successful delivery of services that inspire recovery and wellbeing, SMART has developed a range of accredited and non-accredited training packages to for SMART staff, service users and other professionals.

Key Duties

To coordinate and deliver SMART Living, an innovative new health and wellbeing training package for people with complex health issues including substance misuse, mental health issues. SMART Living is a gateway training package, aiming to reduce social isolation, improve health and wellbeing and increase engagement in ETE.

 

This position will be supported by a training assistant and volunteers, and will work closely with the volunteer coordinator and local team, to create and support volunteering and other progression opportunities for learners.
