Our training is grounded in expertise, policy, legislation and good practice. This is underpinned by years of frontline experience. All our services are delivered by specialists in their field and are tailored to benefit a wide range of clients including the corporate, public and third sectors.
The training delivered includes both nationally accredited qualifications (AIM) and standalone modules for professional development. All of our programmes are designed to upskill, grow and inspire attendees. We are flexible in our approach, can develop sessions specifically to meet your needs and can deliver training anywhere within the UK.

SMARTskills Level 1 “Award in Skills for Employment and Further Learning”
Originally developed for service users within community based drugs and alcohol services, this qualification is excellent for anyone looking to get into employment. The course covers:

- Issues of substance misuse (optional)
AIM Awards Level 3 Certificate in Working with Substance Misuse and Complex Needs
This qualification is aimed at individuals who are currently working in or looking to gain employment within the substance misuse and complex needs sector. The course covers:
- Counselling skills
- Harm minimisation
- Cognitive behavioural therapy
- Motivational interviewing
- Solution-focused therapy
- Domestic abuse
- Working with sex workers
- Child sexual exploitation
- Drug and alcohol awareness

The modules above are not exhaustive. If you decide that you would prefer a training session incorporating content from various topics, or that you would like our trainers to focus on specific aspects of an area, we will do our best to accommodate to your needs.
Standalone training can be taught over half- or full-day training sessions and can be organised as single sessions or as bespoke packages to suit your organisation’s needs.
