SMART is a charitable organisation, and works within budget restraints. However, this is not the determining factor when planning the benefits package we offer our employees.
If you decide to work for SMART you will be entitled to the following benefits:
Competitive salaries set using the market rates as a benchmark
All staff receive a minimum of 27 working days annual leave entitlement, each financial year.
All staff are entitled to all eight official public holidays in England and Wales. In cases when a worker is required to work on a certain public holiday, time in lieu is given.
All employees who have been with the organisation for three or more years are entitled to three additional working days annual leave entitlement.
SMART is committed to developing its staff and helping them acquire new skills. The organisation works in partnership with Thames Valley University, to run two accredited modules in Treatment Intervention and Motivational Interviewing.
In addition, employees are encouraged to attend external training courses and professional events, related to areas such as substance misuse, child protection, equality and diversity awareness, health and safety, and IT. When undertaking a training course, you are entitled to study leave and support is at hand at all times.
SMART offers a group pension scheme with 6% employer's contribution and additional voluntary employee contribution.
SMART recognises employee needs to balance work and home life. Therefore, wherever possible, we work with you to find the best working patterns that suit your individual circumstances.
SMART cares about its employees and provides counselling and emotional support to its employees, as and when required.
In addition to all this we offer a working environment which allows employees to be creative and encourages everyone to develop to their full potential.
