SMART at the Walk for Recovery

Saturday 17th September 2011

This event took place on Saturday 17th September 2011 in Oxford organised by Oxfordshire DAAT.  The day was a great success, and the walk itself was not dampened by the poor weather. There were lots of activities for adults and children in South Park, with a Human Table Football tournament, Gladiator Jousting, and inflatable Sumo Wrestling suits for people to have a go at, which was good fun for many.

Then there was the Awards Ceremony, which gave recognition to staff and service users who have either made fantastic progress or been inspirational in their work. Three SMART staff members, one of our mentors, and a service user all received awards and were presented with a trophy and a certificate. Congratulations to them all.

On the whole, the day was a great success, and we would like to thank everyone who came along and gave their support.
