What does the service offer?

SMART Families and Carers Service offers sessions where relatives and carers of people with drug or alcohol problems can get advice and information on how to understand and best support their loved one through recovery.

Who is the service for?

This service is for the families and carers of problem drug and alcohol users across Oxfordshire and Berkshire East.  If you need a place to turn you can visit any of our groups for peer support and advice from a SMART worker.

You can contact SMART in Oxfordshire or Bracknell for more information or just drop-in to the group session.

Group times and locations:

Berkshire East

Substance Misuse Family & Friends Group

Last Thursday of the month 7-9pm at New Hope, Bracknell

Oxfordshire

Family and Carer Groups:

Abingdon

3rd Tuesday of the month, 6-8pm at 35 Ock Street, Abingdon OX14 5AG

Banbury

2nd Tuesday of the month, 6-8pm at Banbury Health Centre, 58 Bridge Street, Banbury OX16 5QD

Bicester

4th Tuesday of the month, 6-8pm at The Causeway Centre, 25 The Causeway, Bicester OX26 6AN

Didcot *

1st  Tuesday of the month in the Community Hall behind Didcot Baptist Church, Didcot

1st Thursday of the month, 6-8pm at The Old Music Hall, 106-108 Cowley Road, Oxford OX4 1JE

**NEW GROUP** Every Thursday for 6 weeks from 15th September  2011, 12.30-2pm at The Leys Children's Centre, 61-63 Cuddesdon Way, Blackbird Leys, Oxford OX4 6SB
