What does the service offer?

The Oxfordshire Alcohol Service offers a range of services for people having problems with their alcohol use.

Services include:

  • One-to-ones
  • Structured Interventions
  • Workshops

Who is the service for?

This service is available to Hazardous, Harmful or Mildly-Dependent alcohol users across Oxfordshire.  We can also work with Heavily-Dependent drinkers to gain appropriate support.

To speak to a SMART worker about your drinking, contact us via any of the routes below.

How to refer

You can be referred in any of the following ways:

  • Visiting an Open Access Drop-in
  • Via your GP
  • Via your alcohol worker
  • Via arrest referral and probation
  • Via the Oxfordshire User Team on 01865 209 111
  • Calling SMART to meet a SMART worker to discuss your needs on 01865 403 151
  • Emailing SMART at enquiries@smartcjs.org.uk

When you contact SMART, we will make an appointment for you to meet a professional alcohol worker who will work with you to undertake an assessment of your needs and provide you with information and next steps.
