What does the service offer?

From 1 July 2009 SMART's new Oxfordshire service will provide a range of services for people with drug and alcohol issues in the Oxfordshire community.  Services included:

• Open Access Drop-in service
• Group Sessions
• Alcohol Services
• One-to-one Support Sessions
• Harm Reduction
• Family and Carer Support (available from the Autumn 2009).

Who is the service for?

This service is for anyone in Oxfordshire who is experiencing problems with their drug or alcohol use.  Most services (Excluding the Open Access Drop-in and Family and Carer services) require referral from a drug or alcohol worker. 

How to refer

You can be referred in any of the following ways:

• Visiting an Open Access Drop-in
• Via your GP
• Via your Drug or Alcohol worker
• Via the Oxfordshire User Team on 01865 209 111

When you contact SMART, we will make an appointment for you to meet a professional drug or alcohol worker who will work with you to undertake an assessment of your needs and provide you with information and next steps.
